I have had many great classes with Mia. This one was decent but not a favorite- physically it was not challenging, and mentally it was hard to find time to think as she was talking the entire time without any moments of silence until the very end. But I did still get something out of the class, despite these things and am grateful.

For Yogis this class is not sweat enducing more gentle yet still powerful. I love Mia’s voice throughout. I haven’t yet found any sweat enducing classes offered here online but it could be me!

This practice starts slow. It moves into some pretty intense poses, but not nearly enough to break a sweat for me. Full of lots of words of wisdom.

Its Valentine's Day, (anciently known as Lupercalia), and a day I am celebrating the goddess Venus, as well as Green Tara, whose name means 'star'. Also am tuning in to the starman himself David Bowie by working on a yoga sequence inspired by his music. Now, today being the last day of the 14 day Yogaworks Heart Opening Challenge, I am so excited to spend time with Mia's video offering here! Will post my reflection upon completion. Namaste.

As many, I came to yoga initially as a form of exercise. I soon realized that yoga was so profound and had so much to teach me not only about my physical body, but also of my mental, emotional spiritual and other realms. I really enjoyed this class because it vocalized and cohesively wove together different sensations and feelings I had been having about yoga and its connection with life. I now feel much more enlightened about how the energy lines connect with the realms and the outer world. Very nice flow, and a very educational and inspirational message. nameste
