It's all about sun salutations, or Surya Namaskara A and B in this sequence. Sun salutes are designed to heat your body and create a rhythmic flow and moving meditation. Recommended props: 1 block

Ok so I thought there would be some nice flow to this. Ridiculous amount of stress on my arms and shoulders in plank, chatarung and no modification on the 2nd model...one more advanced level than the other? I will stop and look for a less painful class.

Not enjoyable for morning.

There is too much instruction and basic explanation for these moves for this to be considered a Level 2 class. This is an introductory class in my opinion. If you consider yourself a Level 2 yoga student then you should have a basic understanding of how to do cobra and half-way lift and don't need to spend the first one-third of the class having it explained to you. This is not the flow class I was looking for. While this class is perfect for a lot of people, I feel it is incorrectly labeled. Not a flow class. Not a Level 2.

Perfect for me; Patti was wonderful and I appreciated the detailed guidance. We are all at various levels and Yoga Works allows everyone the opportunity to explore all classes and discover what works for them; how beautiful is that. Namaste, Marni

Too much instruction to be a flow class

Not exactly the sun salutation. Too much Planks

Are there any classes with music? I can’t play my own with the classes I have taken so far because the volume of the voice is too low even when I turn my device all the way up. Other than those two things I think it is a great site!

Such a great short flow practice. The extra work with alignment and posture is great to come back to.

Basic but super beneficial practice. Feeling great after this!

this is a great class for learning or refeshing your knowledge of Sun Salutations, but calling it a flow class is misleading

I really appreciate the calmness of her voice, and her great instruction. A perfect little flow class for a great warm up.

I agree with the other comments in that this practice is mislabeled. Additionally, I didn't feel enough pause for breath between and during the asanas making me feel rushed and not allowing for true flow.

Thank you for calling out the specifics of the movements. This helped me to be mindful of alignment.

I loved that she worked on posture. She's a great Teacher, she has a beautiful voice and her instructions are simple. Its great for anyone from beginner to advance.

This class is more the basics of flow. If you've ever suffered from shoulder injuries, this class teaches you correct shoulder to wrist alignment. I didn't feel any shoulder pain doing it correctly. Great instruction!

Shes a great teacher, but there was a lot of talking and not as much flowing. I find her other classes better.

Thanks for a great class!!!

I think this flow is wrongly titled. This is more core/plank work for a good five minutes. I would have preferred a solid sun salutation flow from the beginning.

I was really hoping for more flow - but she definitely knows her stuff!

I really enjoyed the break down of parts before taking them into the sun salutations. it certainly made me more mindful. Certainly effortful but happier in chaturanga. Sweaty now... Thank you!

It was a lot of planks and chaturangas in the first 10 minutes for arm prep work. Sun salutations begin after that.
