20 min Cervical Wheel and Shoulder Girdle Flow w/ Ashley – Class 3

Join Ashley in this 20-minute flow, the third part of her Mindful Backbends Series, as she continues to prepare your body for Wheel Pose. In this practice, Ashley builds on the previous sessions and focuses on proper shoulder alignment and mobility to best prepare for the invigorating backbend at the end of the series. Emphasizing a balance between using shoulder mobility to help open the chest and maintaining spinal length, this flow builds upon the first two parts of the series to promote ease and support for the spine. By doing so, practitioners can tap into a feeling of openness and expansion throughout the entire practice that will support them as they later move into the final practice of the series.
